Make brushes more usable!

Brush up items from Suspicious Sand and Gravel to get Sand Powder and Pebbles, carpet-like decorations that can be crafted into their full blocks, or try brushing a Husk to get more Sand Powder and turn that into renewable Sand. Add 2 Iron Ingots to a Brush when crafting to make an Iron Brush, with 4 times the durability.

Brush up Leaf Litter, and have it drop leaves. Specifically, the nearest type of Leaf Block! Only have Oak Leaves and much prefer Flowering Azalea? Smelt it to Leaf Litter, place it near a Flowering Azalea Leaf, and sweep it all up.

Right-click with a Brush on Cobwebs to break them and drop a lot of String, or use it on Concrete Powder to get Concrete Powder Statues, that the brush can pose into 5 different poses, as well as turning it back into Concrete Powder! Throw water over these statues to turn them into Concrete Statues, locking their pose.
