Better AE Cables

Initial Release — v26.1.2-0.1.0

Adds two higher-tier ME cable lines to Applied Energistics 2, craftable up from AE2's existing cables.

Overclocked tier — 16 / 64 channels

All 5 AE2 cable shapes (Glass, Covered, Smart, Dense Covered, Dense Smart), in all 17 colors. Crafted from the matching vanilla AE2 cable + Redstone + Certus Quartz Crystal.

Hyperconductive tier — 128 channels

Dense Covered and Dense (Smart) cables, in all 17 colors. Crafted from the matching Overclocked dense cable + Diamond + Fluix Crystal.

Config

• channelCapacityMultiplier — scales this mod's cable tiers independently of AE2's own channel mode setting.
• unlimitedChannels — makes this mod's cable tiers carry unlimited channels without changing AE2's global channel mode.

Compatibility

• Full Jade and WTHIT tooltip support (shows live channel usage/capacity).
• JEI recipe support.
• Vanilla AE2 cables are completely unaffected — this only adds new tiers on top.

• Applied Energistics 2 (26.1.10-beta+)
• GuideME (AE2's own dependency)

Known limitations

• New tiers currently reuse AE2's existing cable textures — no unique look per tier yet.
• Hyperconductive tier is dense-only for now.
