BendyGeckoCompat
Your 3D armor finally bends along with your animations!
With Emotecraft or Player Animator, the player’s arms and legs bend at the elbows and knees. Until now, GeckoLib armor and modeled armor (MCreator, Blockbench, etc.) didn’t keep up: they remained stiff or detached from the body. BendyGeckoCompat fixes this: every piece of armor now follows the player’s movement in real time.
✨ Features
- 🦾 Real-time bending of GeckoLib armor: arms, legs, torso, and boots
- 🧩 Classic modeled armor supported (MCreator models, custom ModelPart-based armor)
- 🎭 Compatible with all Emotecraft emotes and all Player Animator animations
- 🔗 Attached items (helmets, accessories, tails, ears, etc.) stay securely in place during animations
- ⚡ Optimized: clipping calculations are cached for minimal impact on FPS
- 🖥️ Client-side only: no need to install it on the server
📦 Dependencies
Version: Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge (47+) and Fabric
❓ FAQ
Does this work with all GeckoLib armor?
Yes, for all armor sets that use GeckoLib’s standard skeleton system (arms, legs, torso, boots). If an armor set behaves strangely, please report it with a screenshot!
Do I need to install it on the server?
No, the mod is 100% client-side.
Can I add it to my modpack?
Yes, no problem!
