Bee Workforce 0.7.0 Release Notes

Bee Workforce 0.7.0 focuses on bee lifetime balance, a simple bee healing method, clearer block visuals, and missing worksite block recipes.

This release makes the features added through 0.6.0 easier to play with and easier to read in-world.

Highlights

Bee Lifetime Balance

• Bees should now feel less short-lived in the default settings.
• NORMAL now consumes 1 life per 3 completed actions.
• EASY disables life consumption.
• HARD consumes 1 life per completed action, closer to the previous stricter behavior.
• The displayed lifetime values are not inflated; the balance is handled through consumption speed.

Heal Bees with Honeycomb

• Right-click an injured Bee Workforce bee with Honeycomb to restore 3 HP.
• Honeycomb is consumed only when healing succeeds.
• Honeycomb is not consumed when the bee is already at full HP.

New Block Textures

• The following 12 blocks now have Bee Workforce-specific block textures:
  • Blueprint Creator Block
  • Huge Blueprint Creator Block
  • Blueprint Export Block
  • Blueprint Import Block
  • Bee Construction Block
  • Bee Builder Chest
  • Bee Shipping Chest
  • Bee Receiving Chest
  • Selective Breeding Hive
  • Bee Enchantment Table
  • Bee Mining Block
  • Bee Landfill Block
• These replace placeholder-looking vanilla block references with simple role-focused visuals.
• Blueprint devices, logistics chests, and construction/mining/landfill worksites should now be easier to tell apart.

Bee Mining Block and Bee Landfill Block Recipes

• Bee Mining Block is now craftable in Survival.
• Bee Landfill Block is now craftable in Survival.
• The Mining recipe uses an Iron Pickaxe, while the Landfill recipe uses an Iron Shovel.

Notes

• The new block textures are the first production-candidate pass and may be refined after more playtesting.
• Bee lifetime mode can be adjusted in the Bee Workforce config.
• Bee Workforce places and removes real blocks in your world. Please make a backup before large construction or removal work when needed.
