Description

Beds, but Endgame
Beds, but Endgame makes sleeping require a little more preparation.
To sleep through the night, place a Bedside Table directly beside either side of the bed's head. Without one, the bed still sets your respawn point, but you cannot use it to skip the night.
Features
- Bedside Tables for every vanilla wood type

- Since BBE uses vanilla textures, all variants should work with any resource pack
- Either side of the bed's head works
- Beds still set your respawn point without a table
- Configurable nightmares
- A Soul Lantern placed on the Bedside Table protects you from nightmares
- Optional prevention of natural phantom spawning
- Configuration through
/bbe config - Optional Mod Menu configuration screen
Recipe

PPP
PDP
P P
P is any matching vanilla plank and D is a diamond.
Configuration
Use /bbe config to change the nightmare chance and phantom setting.
With Mod Menu installed, the same settings can also be changed through a configuration screen. Mod Menu is optional.
Requirements
- Fabric API
- Mod Menu is optional
Testing
The mod has been fully tested in singleplayer. Dedicated multiplayer has not been tested yet.
Known issue
Parts of the Bedside Table can appear unusually dark when a full block is placed directly beside it. This is visual only and does not affect gameplay.
Inspiration
Inspired by Harder Beds. I liked its approach to making sleeping more challenging, but wanted to create a separate implementation centered around my own Bedside Table mechanic.
