This mod will add variations to food items that already exist in the game. My intent was for this to balance things out and add equal purpose and incentive for various Minecraft features. In version 1.0, birch tree leaves now drop the Granny Smith apple! Hopefully this will give more more incentive to harvest birch trees, rather than just harvesting oak because it can drop apples.
Granny Smith apple can be used similar to a normal apple for various recipes, and has the same saturation value when eaten.
