Beagle's Prospects is based on another mod called Mineral Chance by Serilum but with my own take on it.
The basic idea of the mod is the Player has a chance while mining to randomly get an item whether it coal, iron, diamond or even netherite scrap if in the nether.
The base chance if this happening is around 2% but it can be boosted by:
Fortune - each tier boosts the chance by 1%
Using a Gold Pickaxe
Luck effect enable - each tier also boosting chances by 1%
You can get better items while mining deepslate
The mod adds a new mining helmet item found from zombies that randomly spawn if obtained it will give the player a protable light source if worn in the helmet slot, it also boosts mining speed by 10% and will boost mineral chance by 2%
