BBS Synchronized

BBS Synchronized is a small addon for the BBS (Primarly BBS FS) Mod that aims to close the gap between server and client by automatically syncing custom server-sided BBS models with all players upon connecting to the server. Say goodbye to manual model distribution!

This mod is made for Fabric 1.20.1, 1.20.4 and 1.21.1. It can also work on NeoForge and Forge using Sinytra Connector.

Features

No Effort Syncing: Models download and sync automatically in the background the moment you spawn into the game server.
Asset Syncing: Ensures that all 3D models stored within the server's BBS folder remain perfectly synchronized between server and clients.
Instant Reloading: Modify your files on the server backend and trigger an immediate refresh for players online with simple commands.

How it works

Just drop the mod into the mods folder of both server and clients, then throw all your custom models, skins, etc., into your server's configuration folder (config/bbs/…)! When players connect to your server, BBS Synchronized automatically checks their files and downloads the relevant BBS assets in the background, if needed.

If you're a server administrator, you can manage these assets in real-time:

/bbs model download : Forcefully re-synchronize active server assets for everyone currently online.
/bbs model upload : Explicitly upload active server assets to connected clients.
/bbs model upload --force : Forces to re-upload models that were modifed by the connected clients.

Compatibility

Be advised: This is an addon! You need either the BBS Mod (Blockbuster Studio) or any other BBS compatible mod (like BBS FS) installed for this to function!

NeoForge / Forge Installation: Even though it's developed for the Fabric ecosystem, the mod can still be used on Forge / NeoForge servers and clients. You'll just have to place the Sinytra Connector mod and the Forgefied Fabric API in the mods folder along with this mod.
