An addon that adds FBX model support to BBS FS. Import, animate, and use full FBX models with armatures, shape keys, multi-material textures, and per-object animation support.

Works with Forge 1.20.1 and NeoForge 1.21.1 using Sinytra Connector.

Features:

Drag & Drop Import — Drop .fbx files directly into the BBS FS UI to import models instantly
Armature & Animation Support — Full skeletal animation with bone hierarchies
Per-Object Animation Support — Animate individual objects independently within the same model. Note: Blender does not natively support per-limb animation. If your model has only one animation it will work as expected, but multiple animations may not behave as intended.
Shape Keys (Blend Shapes) — Morph targets for facial expressions and body deformation
Multi-Material & Textures — Automatic material detection with per-mesh texture support
Embedded Texture Extraction — Extracts textures embedded inside FBX files automatically

Installation:

Install BBS FS and Fabric API (Requirement)
Drop this mod's .jar into your mods folder
Launch the game — FBX support is ready!

How to Use — Drag & Drop (Quick Import):

Open the BBS FS model UI (B key by default)
Drag and drop your .fbx file directly into the window
The model is imported and ready to use immediately

How to Use — Manual Import:

Press B to open the BBS models menu
Press F6 to open the BBS Utility Panel
Click the blue Models button
A folder will pop up — add your model folder there with the .fbx model inside

Warning: If your model is not showing, you may need to create a folder inside your model folder manually first so BBS can detect it. This is a known BBS FS bug.
