batterycraft-1.0.0-beta.5-mc26.2.jar
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
BatteryCraft beta.5 gives you more control over battery profiles: lower FPS caps stay lower, and detected manual graphics edits are preserved.
Lower FPS caps stay lower
- Profiles now use the lower of your original Minecraft cap and their configured cap by default. Original 60 + profile 120 → 60 FPS cap.
- Enable Allow profiles to raise the FPS cap to explicitly permit a higher cap. Available in Sodium General settings and the fallback configuration window, in English and Spanish.
- A profile cap of 0 retains your original cap. Detected manual FPS edits still take priority.
Your manual changes are protected
- BatteryCraft tracks each managed setting separately, comparing its current value with the last value applied by the mod.
- Detected edits remain under your control through battery, low-battery and critical-battery transitions and reconnection. Untouched settings continue to follow profiles and restore normally.
- Reconnecting in Automatic mode or disabling saving ends the saving session. Your retained settings become the baseline for the next session.
Recovery and upgrades
- Recovery snapshots now store original values, last-applied values and detected manual overrides, protecting saved edits after an unexpected close.
- Existing beta.4 recovery snapshots remain readable.
- Configuration migration preserves custom profiles and notification preferences.
- Profile-change messages no longer display a requested cap as if it were the effective FPS cap.
Four Minecraft builds
| Minecraft | Java | Minimum Fabric Loader | Download |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1.21.x | 21 | 0.16.0 | batterycraft-1.0.0-beta.5-mc1.21.jar |
| 26.1.x | 25 | 0.19.0 | batterycraft-1.0.0-beta.5-mc26.1.jar |
| 26.2.x | 25 | 0.19.3 | batterycraft-1.0.0-beta.5-mc26.2.jar |
| 26.3.x | 25 | 0.19.5 | batterycraft-1.0.0-beta.5-mc26.3.jar |
macOS, client-side only. Install Fabric API matching your Minecraft version. A compatible Sodium Config API enables the native menu; otherwise the fallback window and configurable B/O shortcuts remain available.
Validation
- 32 automated tests passed, covering lower caps, explicit opt-in, manual edits, profile transitions, fresh sessions, crash recovery, legacy snapshots and named/intermediary option access. Native-menu regression tests use Sodium 0.8.12's real builders.
- All four JARs were built and checked for version metadata, Java bytecode, translations and ZIP integrity.
- The maintainer reported a successful in-game test on Minecraft 26.3. Exact patch and dependency versions were not recorded in that report. Specific beta.5 in-game validation for 1.21.x, 26.1.x and 26.2.x remains pending.
- FPS and battery-life improvements have not been benchmarked. A cap is not a guaranteed frame rate.
Installation and detection limits
Close Minecraft and replace the previous BatteryCraft JAR with the file for your version; avoid duplicate installations.
Detection requires a value different from the last applied value, including changes made by other mods. Same-value edits or edits reverted before the next application/restoration cannot be distinguished. Unsaved Minecraft edits cannot be recovered after restarting. Legacy beta.4 snapshots lack the last-applied values needed to identify edits made before upgrading.
