Core gameplay

Left-click to pass, jump + left-click to shoot (hold to charge power), right-click to dribble.
Weighted, bouncy ball physics with real backspin, floats instead of sinking in water.
Dunking requires your crosshair to actually be touching the rim — no dunking just from standing nearby.
A thick, glowing outline previews exactly where a charged shot will land.

Scoring hardware

5 rim tiers (Copper → Iron → Gold → Diamond → Netherite, the last via smithing-table upgrade), each clanking off the edges and swishing cleanly through the center.
A directional Backboard for bank shots (ball phases through from behind), a swaying Basketball Net, a decorative Golden Basketball block, and a 1.8-block Basketball Trophy.
Exploit-proofed: shooting up through the rim from underneath can't score.

Scoreboards

Small (0–999, craftable with any wood plank), Large (2×2 multiblock), and Extra Large (3×3 multiblock, gold-named) versions — all placeable on any face, not just walls.
Manual +1 by hand, or link one to a rim with the craftable Scoreboard Linker (highlights linked pairs while held) for automatic scoring worth a configurable point value per basket.
Set a target score in the settings screen (shift+right-click) to trigger a confetti burst and a redstone signal when it's hit.
Every basket also announces the scorer and point value in chat.

Gear progression

5 tiers of speed/jump-boosting shoes — Running Shoes → Basketball Shoes → Advanced → Dunker Shoes → Elite Basketball Shoes (rare-colored names, the top tier also adds armor).
Referee Jersey, Pants, and a craftable Whistle with a real synthesized sound and its own raise-to-mouth animation — wearing the striped referee cloth carries a chance of temporary blindness that clears the instant you take it off.
Team Jerseys and Shorts in red, blue, yellow, and green, built from real vanilla leather-armor shading for an authentic in-game look.
