hot air balloons: a small vessel meant to take you high into the sky. great for traversing mountain ranges and canyons. 

 

air ships: a larger air vessel meant to make travelling long distances faster. why climb that hill if you could fly right over it? moves faster in any direction however does not ascend as fast as the air balloon

 

armored balloons and ships: using a netherite ingot you can upgrade your vessel to make it much more resistant to damage, the drawback to this is that you lose some of your speed and ascension capabilities.

 

in order to use either of these ships you'll need to make an air balloon handle

 

bombs: you can drop bombs onto your enemies from the sky. be careful not to get shot down though.

 

big bombs: a much more dangerous, and expensive, bomb.
