Baochuan - Treasure Ships

Bring a little maritime adventure to Minecraft with Chinese-style wooden ships and cabins you can step inside.

Three ships, one growing home

• Small Ship: a compact boat with oars and a private 5 x 5 x 3 cabin.
• Ship: a single-masted sailing ship with an 11 x 11 x 8 cabin.
• Big Ship: a two-masted treasure ship with a 21 x 21 x 15 cabin.

Layered wooden hulls, red railings, teal cabin roofs, lattice windows, lantern details and battened sails give the fleet a distinctive look while keeping Minecraft's block-built style.

Each ship has its own persistent cabin in a separate dimension. Crafting an upgrade expands that cabin in place and preserves its contents. A boat hook lets the owner (or a server operator) recover the ship as an item while retaining its cabin and ownership.

Controls

• Right-click with a ship item to place it.
• Right-click the ship to take the helm.
• Use W/S to move forward/backward and A/D to turn.
• Press Shift to dismount.
• Sneak-right-click the ship to enter its cabin. You can also right-click with an empty hand while riding.
• Right-click the cabin door to return to the ship.
• Right-click the ship with a boat hook to recover it.

Crafting and progression

Combine nine logs into a Lumber Bundle, then nine bundles into a Lumber Pile.

Surround a vanilla boat with eight logs to make a Small Ship. Surround a Small Ship with eight Lumber Bundles to upgrade it to a Ship, then use eight Lumber Piles around a Ship to make a Big Ship. Upgrades preserve the cabin identity and its contents.

Installation

Requires Minecraft Java Edition 1.20.1, Forge 47.x, and Java 17. Put the JAR in the mods folder. For multiplayer, install the mod on both the server and every connecting client. No additional library mods are required.

This download is for Forge 1.20.1. Fabric, NeoForge and other Minecraft versions are not supported by this release.

宝船为 Minecraft 添加三种可驾驶的中式木船：双桨小船、单桅帆船和双桅宝船。每艘船都有独立船舱，可逐级扩建并保留舱内物品；船钩可以收回船只，保留舱室与船主信息。

右键上船，W/S 前进或后退，A/D 转向；潜行右键进入船舱，右键舱门回到船上。需要 Minecraft 1.20.1 和 Forge 47.x，联机时客户端与服务端均需安装。
