Description
Description:
Banishment Manager is a lightweight server-side punishment tool for Minecraft 1.12.2. It gives admins a softer alternative to banning players.
Instead of a permanent ban, rule-breakers are teleported to a dedicated banishment dimension. Their original inventory is safely preserved, and they can be released at any time with a simple command. The goal is simple: punish without destroying.
Features:
· Banish players — Use /banish <player> to send a player to the banishment dimension.
· Separate dimension — A flat, endless, void-like world with no mobs, no structures, and no random ticks. Fully isolated.
· Independent inventory — The player's original items are safely stored while banished. Nothing is lost.
· Status loop — Banished players receive periodic effects to prevent escaping or self-harm.
· Anti-escape check — Players who leave the dimension are automatically teleported back.
· Unbanish — Use /unbanish <player> to return a player to their original position and inventory.
· Player list — Use /banish list to list all banished players and their coordinates.
Commands:
· /banish <player> — Banish a player (OP only)
· /unbanish <player> — Release a banished player (OP only)
· /banish list — List banished players and coordinates (OP only)
Compatibility:
· Minecraft 1.12.2
· Forge 14.23.5.2864
· Must be installed on both server and client (the custom dimension requires client-side registration)
Notes:
· The banishment dimension ID is configurable to avoid conflicts with other mods.
· Player inventories are handled by vanilla dimension mechanics. Your items are never stored in custom NBT, so there is zero risk of item loss or save corruption.
· Enchantments on modded items are not preserved by design. Admins can restore them manually if needed.
· Due to the custom dimension, this mod cannot be used with a server-side-only installation. Please install it on both the server and the client.
