# Bambi SMP Companion

**Bambi SMP Companion is the official client and server companion mod for the Bambi SMP server and ASDX modpack. It is not intended as a standalone utility mod.**

The mod provides server-driven interfaces and utilities used by the Bambi multiplayer experience while remaining inactive in single-player and on unrelated servers.

## Features

- A compact pastel-pink custom scoreboard showing playtime, claims, vote progress and online players
- A graphical four-slot home manager with rename, icon selection and delete confirmation
- A 30-second home teleport warm-up
- Interactive night-skip voting with clickable chat controls, sounds, a boss bar and status GUI
- Scheduled 15-minute ground-item cleanup with advance warnings
- `/sb`, `/home`, `/sethome`, `/bhome` and `/skipnight` commands

## Installation

Install the same release on both the Bambi dedicated server and every joining client. ASDX modpack users receive the client automatically through the modpack.

The mod does not activate its gameplay systems in single-player. Clients carrying it may join unrelated servers without the mod; all Bambi-specific UI remains hidden. A Bambi server requires a matching client protocol version.

- Open Parties and Claims is supported for claim information but is not a mandatory dependency

## Privacy

The public jar contains no server address, password, access token, player database, saved home, vote record or local computer path. Runtime player data remains on the server that creates it.
