Server Essentials and Administration

Bambi SMP Companion is an all-in-one server essentials and administration mod for Minecraft Forge. It provides recovery, moderation and quality-of-life systems for server administrators and players.

Grief Protection and World Rewind

Bambi World Rewind helps protect servers against griefing by recording player-caused changes. Administrators can reverse damage caused by a specific player without restoring the entire world or affecting unrelated players.

The system records placed and destroyed blocks, modified containers, water and lava, explosions, piston activity and affected entities. It can restore killed animals and reverse indirect actions caused by projectiles, pets, fire or fluids.

Administrators can restore a player’s complete history or select a custom period. Completed actions are safely marked so running the same rollback again does not duplicate restored entities.

World Rewind does not prevent players from placing or destroying blocks in real time. Instead, it records their activity and allows grief damage to be safely removed afterward.

Inventory Recovery

Bambi Inventory Archive automatically creates backups when players join, leave, die or change dimensions. Backups contain inventories, armor, offhand items, Ender Chests, health, food, experience, dimension and location information.

Administrators can browse backups through graphical menus, inspect saved items, restore specific player data, teleport to recorded locations or export items into shulker boxes.

Administration Tools

InvSee allows administrators to view and edit the inventory, armor and offhand slots of online players. An additional safety backup is created after an InvSee session.

The mod also includes automatic dropped-item cleanup, configurable night voting, random teleport integration, custom join and leave messages, chat presentation and server weather management.

Player Features

Players can use a graphical four-slot home system to create, rename, customize and delete homes. Homes support teleportation between dimensions.

The night voting system includes interactive voting controls, sounds, a boss bar, player status information and persistent voting statistics.

Scoreboard

The client scoreboard displays playtime, online player count, remaining Open Parties and Claims chunks and the owner of the current claim. Players can show or hide it with /sb.

The scoreboard layout and text are currently fixed and cannot be edited through a configuration file.

Commands

World rollback commands are /co rollback <player> [time], /rollback <player> [time] and /brollback <player> [time].

Inventory archive commands include /ir restore [player], /ir forcebackup all, /ir forcebackup player <name>, /ir enable, /ir disable, /ir reload, /ir version and /ir help. The aliases /irp, /inventoryrollback and /inventoryrollbackplus are also available.

Other commands include /invsee <player>, /home, /sethome, /bhome, /skipnight, /skipnight yes, /skipnight no, /skipnight gui, /skipnight stats, /sb and /rtp.

Administrative recovery commands require operator permissions.

Requirements

Bambi SMP Companion requires Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge 47 or newer and Open Parties and Claims 0.29.2 or newer. The mod must be installed on both the server and connecting clients.
