Ball Mode

Ever wanted to play Minecraft as a marble? Now you can.

Ball Mode turns you into a rolling ball with real momentum. You speed up going downhill, slide on ice, bounce when you land hard, and fall off the edge if you're not careful. It's simple to pick up and surprisingly hard to master.

What's in it

• Rolling physics. Smooth rolling with weight and momentum. Different blocks feel different, and ice is slippery.
• Speed Boosts and Jump Pads. Launch yourself across gaps or blast down long straights.
• Moving platforms, spinners and swinging hammers. Time your moves or get knocked into the void.
• Checkpoints. Fall off and you go back to your last checkpoint instead of starting over. Press R to jump back anytime.
• Level blocks. Build your own courses with Start and Finish blocks. There's a timer, and it remembers your best time.
• Ghost replay. Race against a ghost of your best run.
• 48 balls. Pick your favourite with /changeball.
• Sounds and camera. Rolling sounds that change with the surface, plus a camera that follows the action.

The Grand Tour map

There's a free map made for the mod: 50 levels across 10 worlds, from grassy meadows to the End. The first levels are short and easy. The last ones will make you angry (in a good way).

The map is a separate download (it isn't included in the mod file).
