Better Straw Beds

Better Straw Beds is an extremely simple mod that prevents you from losing your spawn point when your active bed is broken, missing, or obstructed.

Inspired by and loosely based on AlexModGuy's Back Up Beds, Straw Backup Beds maintains a history of beds you've slept in. When you die and your primary spawn bed is unavailable, you'll be sent to your most recent valid backup bed.

Features

• Spawn Chaining: Automatically keeps track of beds you've slept in. If your active spawn point is destroyed or obstructed, you respawn at your previous backup bed instead of being sent straight to spawn.
• Backported Straw Bed: Includes the Straw Bed from 26.3 with new mechanics, letting you create single-use spawn points during long adventures.
• Highly Configurable: Customize straw bed breaking behavior, maximum number of tracked spawn points, and feedback.
• Mod Compatibility: Built-in support for YACL for in-game configuration, and has additional features for No Man's Land straw beds.

Configuration

Configuration options can be edited via the in-game menu or directly in config/better_straw_beds.json.
