Backrooms: Project NoClip is a Minecraft horror mod focused on exploration, survival, and psychological horror.

You do not always choose when you enter the Backrooms. Unstable portals can randomly appear in the Overworld, and walking into one can send you into Level 0. Players can also craft an Unstable Compass, which helps lead them toward a way into the Backrooms.

Once you enter, the mod adds large Backrooms levels that generate as you explore. Each area is made to feel empty, strange, and unsafe. You may walk for a long time without seeing anything, but that does not mean you are alone.

Right now, the mod includes Level 0 and Level 1.

Level 0 is a huge maze of yellow walls, wet carpet, buzzing lights, and dark rooms. The layout changes as the world generates, so every trip can feel different.

Level 1 is an endless parking garage filled with concrete rooms, pillars, pipes, parked cars, puddles, supply areas, maintenance halls, and power boxes. The power can randomly shut off, leaving the level almost completely dark. You will need to find a power box and restore the electricity before something finds you.

The mod also includes custom creatures such as The Duller. It does not fight like a normal Minecraft mob. It watches from a distance, hides when seen, and waits for the right moment to attack through walls and drag players away.

This mod is still in beta, so bugs may happen and some features are still being worked on. The goal is to keep adding more Backrooms levels, entities, items, and survival systems over time.
