BABT Spawner UI

A lightweight, client-side-only addon for Brass Amber Battle Towers (ba_bt) that helps you find nearby dungeon spawners without staring at every wall.

Ever explored a Battle Tower and had no idea whether a spawner was hiding behind the next wall? This mod detects nearby ba_bt spawner block entities and shows their location using a true vanilla-style glow effect (the same rendering pipeline as the Glowing potion effect) — or a HUD icon with distance, or both.

Features

See-through-walls outline — spawners glow with a colored wireframe box, visible through terrain and structure walls
On-screen icon mode — a small icon (with distance in meters) appears when a spawner is in view
Fully configurable via an in-game config screen or config/babt_spawner_ui-client.toml:
- radius — detection range in blocks
- renderMode — OUTLINE, ICON, or BOTH
- glowColor — any hex color you want
- glowAlpha — opacity
- lineWidth — outline thickness
Zero server-side footprint — 100% client-side, safe to use on any server (no need for server admin approval)

Requirements

Minecraft 1.20.1
Minecraft Forge 47.4.20+
Brass Amber Battle Towers (ba_bt) — required, this mod does nothing without it

Installation

Install Minecraft Forge for 1.20.1
Download and install Brass Amber Battle Towers
Download and install BABT Spawner UI
Launch the game — that's it, no configuration required to get started

Configuration

Open the config from the in-game Mods menu, or edit config/babt_spawner_ui-client.toml directly. Changes apply live without restarting the game.
