Welcome to AVP (Human)! This Minecraft mod is made in 1.21.1 and is home to human-related content from the Alien, Predator and AVP franchises. The mod is currently available for Fabric and NeoForge.

MIGRATING FROM "AVP"

If you are migrating from the 1.21.1 "AVP" mod (found here: https://modrinth.com/mod/avp) to the split up AVP files, you MUST use ALL modules provided (Alien, Human and Predator) to avoid losing data in your worlds and/or corrupting your worlds. Do not use the standalone AVP mod as it will no longer be updated.

Also, please BACK UP YOUR WORLDS before migrating! The different modules should migrate their respective content automatically, but it never hurts to back things up just in case! :)

Colonial Marines

Recruit and command intelligent marine NPCs with advanced Goal-Oriented Action Planning (GOAP) AI:

Tactical Armor - Military-grade combat armor that offers bullet resistance.
Tactical Camo Armor - Camouflage variant of the tactical armor.
Pressure Suit - Environmental protection for hazardous conditions. Allows you to permanently breathe underwater!
WY Commando Armor - Advanced corporate military gear. Wearing the helmet gives you night vision!
WY Elite Armor - Top-tier Weyland-Yutani equipment
MK50 Armor - Specialized armor that protects you from radiation.
APE Armor - All-around defensive armor that protects you from fire, cold and even facehuggers from avp: alien or gigeresque!

Radiation System

A dynamic radiation mechanic with three phases:

Incubation (0-20%) - No damage as the body adjusts.
Peak Damage (20-80%) - Maximum radiation sickness with escalating side effects.
Taper-off (80-100%) - Symptoms subside as the effect wears off.

Side effects progress from weakness and hunger to slowness and blindness at higher exposure levels. Radiation-resistant armor provides protection.

Radioactive Materials:

Autunite ore and blocks emit radiation.
Irradiated grenades spread contamination.
Lead chests provide shielded storage for radioactive items.

Gene System

A genetics system allowing modification of entity attributes:

Gene Reader - Analyze genetic traits on entities.
Syringe - Apply genetic modifications.
Multiple gene types affecting attributes, applying effects, or serving as markers.

Military installations spawn naturally throughout your world:

Marine Camp - Squad encampments with marines and supplies.
Supply Outpost - Resource depots (grassland, desert, and badlands variants).
Munitions Outpost - Weapons and ammunition production.
Communications Outpost - Signal relay and command centers.
Mobile Lab - Portable research facilities.

Each structure contains loot chests, marine patrols, and defensive positions.

Ammo Chest - Specialized storage that feeds ammunition to turrets and marines.
Lead Chest - Radiation-shielded storage for hazardous materials.
Industrial Furnace - Faster smelting for building block recipes.
Armor Case - Compact armor storage. Stores a full set in a single slot!
Canisters - Transport water, lava, milk, and powder snow with increased storage, 8x that of a bucket!
Dog Tags - Identity items for marines to remember the fallen.
Gun Blueprints - Collectible crafting components for all weapons.

Villager Integration
