Avalanche Physics
A Minecraft Fabric mod that lets you trigger massive, physics-based avalanches on any terrain.
Features
- Engine Breaker Item: A custom projectile weapon that triggers avalanches on impact
- Realistic Physics: Blocks detach and tumble with proper gravity and collision
- Material-Specific Behavior: Different blocks behave differently:
- Stone and ore blocks bounce and tumble
- Dirt and grass slide and roll
- Ice blocks slide with low friction
- Slime blocks bounce high
- Sand and gravel fall faster
- Bottom-Up Collapse: Avalanches propagate realistically from the impact point
- Massive Scale: Trigger collapses affecting hundreds of blocks
- Particle Effects: Dust and debris particles during collapse
Installation
- Install Fabric Loader for Minecraft 1.21.1
- Install Fabric API
- Download the mod JAR file and place it in your
mods folder
- Launch Minecraft
Usage
- Get the Engine Breaker item:
- Use the command
/give @p avalanchemod:engine_breaker
- Or find it in the creative inventory under Tools
- Aim at a mountain, cliff, or any terrain
- Right-click to fire a glowing projectile
- Watch the terrain collapse in a spectacular avalanche!
Tips
- Target the base of mountains for maximum destruction
- Avalanches work best on natural terrain with varied block types
- The collapse propagates upward from the impact point
- Stand back! Falling blocks can damage players
