1.7.0 - 2026-06-17

AMI 1.7.0 ports the active NeoForge line to Minecraft/NeoForge 26.1.2 and updates AMI's overlay, rendering, and classification behavior for the new client/runtime APIs.

Changed

  • Updated NeoForge data-generation runs to use the current clientData and serverData entry points expected by the 26.1.2 toolchain.
  • Updated NeoForge overlay/container access, player/entity preview rendering, and config dropdown input handling for 26.1.2 screen, pose, and widget API changes.

Fixed

  • Fixed inventory overlay positioning and AMI-owned tooltip submission on 26.1.2 container screens so overlays still render in the correct screen-space layer after the deferred-tooltip pipeline changes.
  • Fixed item fluid-capacity probing to fail closed when a capability throws, with focused regression coverage for the shared positive-sum helper.
  • Fixed classification for 26.1.2 item metadata changes, including Equippable-based armor, component/tag-based swords, c:bricks ingredients, and c:drinks/magic items such as ominous bottles.
