Description
Auto Anchor is a client-side Fabric mod designed to make Respawn Anchor combat faster, more consistent, and safer.
It automates the Respawn Anchor sequence while handling server synchronization, failed placements, charge desyncs, accidental activation while typing, and unreliable Safe Anchor placement.
How to use
Keep a Respawn Anchor and Glowstone in your hotbar.
By default:

Press 4 to use the normal combo:
Place Anchor → Charge → Detonate -
Press 5 to use the Safe Anchor combo:
Place Anchor → Charge → Place Protection Block → Detonate
Safe Anchor automatically searches for a good protection position between you and the explosion. It smoothly turns toward the placement location, places the protection block, waits for the server to confirm it, then turns back toward the Respawn Anchor and detonates it.
Glowstone is used as the preferred protection block. If no Glowstone is available for protection, another placeable block in the hotbar can be used instead.
Commands
You can customize the controls and timing with:
/autoanchor keybind normal
Changes the Normal Anchor activation key.
/autoanchor keybind safe
Changes the Safe Anchor activation key.
/autoanchor delay <min_ms> <max_ms>
Changes the randomized delay between normal combo actions.
Example:
/autoanchor delay 20 22
/autoanchor safe delay <ms>
Changes the Safe Anchor action delay.
The configured delay does not override the built-in detonation protection. Auto Anchor will not send the detonation before the Respawn Anchor has been observed for at least 100 ms.
Safety & multiplayer reliability
Auto Anchor includes several safeguards designed for multiplayer use.
It confirms important placements with the server, retries failed Respawn Anchor or Glowstone interactions, and automatically cancels a combo if it cannot complete within 1000 ms.
The mod also prevents activation while any Minecraft interface is open. This means typing numbers such as 400k in chat, a sign, book, anvil, search field, or another GUI will not accidentally activate Auto Anchor.
If a combo is interrupted or becomes invalid, the mod restores your previous hotbar slot instead of leaving the controls locked.
Safe Anchor
Safe Anchor includes a more advanced protection system.
It evaluates multiple possible locations around the player and Respawn Anchor, checks the player's hitbox, existing terrain, interaction range, valid support faces, and how much protection each block position can provide.
Before placing the protection block, Auto Anchor smoothly rotates toward the selected face. It keeps looking at that location until the server confirms the expected block. Only then does it rotate back toward the Respawn Anchor and continue the detonation sequence.
This helps reduce incorrect Glowstone placement, failed shield blocks, and accidental charging of the Respawn Anchor while attempting to place protection.
