Pattern cut / copy tools no longer freeze the game
Cutting or pasting on the Useless Mod omniversal multiblock pattern assembly walked thousands of slots in a single call, saturating the server thread and freezing the game. Both directions are now tick-sliced:
- Time-budgeted tick slices (at least 64 slots, then yielding to the server), with a progress
line shown while working (
Working… 384 / 2048). - Heavy work runs off-thread: pattern serialisation, gzip compression and pattern decoding no longer occupy the server thread. Only the slot reads and writes that must touch world state stay on it.
- The separate "async read" branch that used to kick in above 500 patterns is gone — every size now uses the same path, so there is no longer a size threshold where behaviour changes.
- Logging out mid-operation, dropping the tool, or breaking the container now all clean up correctly. A lingering internal flag used to stop that container from ever refreshing again.
- One job per player at a time; clicking again reports that work is still in progress.
Both the cut and the copy tool were changed, not just one of them.
Invalid patterns no longer report a full container
A tool holding dead entries (blank tags, items from uninstalled mods, undecodable data) used to queue them like any other pattern, have every slot refuse them, and end up telling the player "the target container's pattern slots are full" on a container that was completely empty.
- Dead entries are now detected and skipped before pasting, so they never enter the queue.
- Their count is shown only when there actually are any — never otherwise:
- Tooltip:
Invalid patterns: 3 (skipped when pasting) - After pasting:
Skipped 3 invalid pattern(s) (kept in the tool) - When it really does not fit:
The target container is full (2 duplicate, 3 invalid skipped) - When nothing is usable:
Nothing usable in this tool; 3 invalid pattern(s) skipped.
- Tooltip:
- Invalid entries stay in the tool — nothing is silently destroyed. Sneak + right-click the air to eject them.
- The count shown in the tooltip is read from a cached value, so displaying it never has to inflate the payload.
Export script formatting
Scripts generated by /aurelium export are now consistent and compact:
- Array entries are single-line:
{itemId:"minecraft:diamond",count:64}. - Item registration, tool registration and the companion recipe are collapsed to one line each.
- Timestamps changed from
2026-10-06T21:14:18.652438200to2026-10-06 21:14:18. - The headers of
.js,.recipe.jsand.tools.jsnow name the same item id instead of contradicting each other.
Interrupted cut / paste safeguards
- A tool cannot be dropped or emptied while a cut or paste operation is running.
- If the tool leaves the inventory through another path, a temporary operation marker keeps the job attached to that exact tool instead of retargeting another one.
- If the tool cannot be found, a cut restores the removed patterns to the source container or player, while a paste rolls back the slots it wrote. This prevents the container and the tool from both keeping the same patterns.
- Logging out, exceptions and failed container operations run the same cleanup and rollback path.
OI Port rename
- Chinese display name changed from
樱粉星愿·进阶端口toOI端口. - English display name changed from
Blush Starwish · Advanced PorttoOI Port. - The registry id remains
aurelium:advance_io_port, so existing worlds need no migration.
