What's new

Attained Drops Revived 26.2 2.0.0 2026-08-30

Additions
* First release for Minecraft 26.2, ported from the 26.1.2 build. Built against
  NeoForge 26.2.0.66.
* 19 new bulb and soil types.
  * Rare drops: Heavy Core, Nautilus Shell, Heart of the Sea, Nether Star, Breeze Rod, Armadillo Scute.
  * Minerals: Coal, Copper, Iron, Gold, Redstone, Lapis Lazuli, Diamond, Emerald, Nether Quartz, Amethyst, Netherite.
  * Wood: Cherry Log, Birch Log.
* Textures for every new type, baked with the same recipe as the original art: the colourless sprite
gradient-mapped through a per-type colour ramp, composited over the plain soil base.
* WTHIT support, showing the same information as Jade: plant growth, the bulb being grown, soil
  enrichment and Vitality Spreader charge.
* es_mx and es_ar locales, sharing the es_es strings.

Changes
* Registration moved to DeferredRegister.Blocks / .Items. Block and item Properties now carry their
own registry id, so each block builds a fresh Properties instance instead of sharing a static one.
* Block states, block models and block-item models are produced by the vanilla ModelProvider
pipeline; the NeoForge BlockStateProvider and ItemModelProvider no longer exist. Item models are
emitted as client item definitions under assets/attained_drops/items/.
* The two-layer soil model is built with NeoForge's ExtendedModelTemplateBuilder.
* Chunk render layers are derived from texture transparency, so the cutout registration is gone.
* Item tints are declared inside the item model definition instead of being registered at runtime.
* Soil names and tooltips moved onto a BlockItem: Block#appendHoverText is gone and
  Block#getDescriptionId is final.
* API renames followed through: BushBlock to VegetationBlock, SnowyDirtBlock to SnowyBlock,
ItemInteractionResult to InteractionResult, ResourceLocation to Identifier.
* Datagen runs from GatherDataEvent.Client, and recipes go through RecipeProvider.Runner.
* Config uses defineListAllowEmpty, which is what accepts an empty default list.
* Translations are generated by datagen (AttainedLangProvider) instead of hand-written JSON files.
* Build moved to the net.neoforged.moddev plugin on Gradle 9.2.1, targeting Java 25.
* Parchment mappings are not applied: none are published for 26.2 yet, so the port builds against
  plain official names.
* pack.mcmeta is no longer shipped: 26.x wants min_format/max_format and the resource and data
pack versions now differ, so NeoForge generates a valid one instead.
* The Placebo dependency was removed. It was declared as required but no code referenced it.
* The One Probe integration was not carried over, as no 26.x build was found.

Fixes
* Startup crash: DefaultTypes built its ItemStacks in a static initialiser, and an item's default
data components are not bound yet while mods are being constructed. The stack is now built lazily.
* Vitalized soil never actually picked up its tint colour: the colour handlers only answered for
tint index 1, but the soil model tints index 0. Bulbs and soils are now registered separately,
each with the index its model uses.
* The particle handler added every particle twice; ParticleEngine#createParticle already adds it.
