Astral Dominion

Astral Dominion is a Fabric 1.20.1 large-mod foundation about skyfall disasters, astral rituals, gravity engineering, rift travel, starforged machines, and endgame gear. The current goal is a playable full loop: explore, mine, survive skyfall,

  3. Starlight ritual

    • A Starlight Altar needs four Resonance Pylons two blocks away in the cardinal directions.
    • Offerings transform star shards, void crystals, rift pearls, and eclipse cores into progression materials.
  4. Gravity engineering

    • Gravity Wells launch and slow entities.
    • Gravity Boots reduce fall speed and improve sprint mobility.
    • Voidglass, Void Lanterns, and Crystal Matrices form the astral machine palette.
  5. Stellar Forge

    • A Stellar Forge needs four Resonance Pylons and a Crystal Matrix above it.
    • It passively gathers charge at night, under open sky, and in astral dimensions.
    • Star shards, celestial dust, and void crystals can be fed into it for charge.

    • Shattered Starstone and Nebula Crystals create a dedicated dimension material palette.
  7. Endgame gear

    • Astral Blade applies Void Touched and Glowing.
    • Void Pickaxe grants Starlit after mining hard blocks.
    • Eclipse Staff releases a magic area pulse.
    • Dominion Crown grants Night Vision, Starlit, and extra protection in the Shattered Sky.
  8. Boss fight

    • The Astral Harbinger is a boss-bar enemy with blink movement, gravity pulses, void clouds, and levitation strikes.
    • The Astral Harbinger uses a custom crowned model, astral body texture, and emissive glow layer.
    • It drops Astral Nexus loot through its entity loot table.
    • Operators can test it with /astral harbinger.
  9. Post-Harbinger technology

    • Astral Nexus can craft the Nexus Stabilizer, a beacon-like anchor that cleanses Void Touched and grants defensive buffs.
    • Astral Nexus can craft the Riftbreaker Cannon, a beam weapon that becomes much stronger when it consumes Astral Nexus ammo.
    • Rift Wraiths become a renewable source of rift materials in the Shattered Sky progression layer.
  10. Shattered Sky exploration

  11. Shattered Spires generate in the Shattered Sky with Nebula Crystals, Starfall Ore pockets, Resonance Pylons, Void Lanterns, and fragile bridges.

  12. Nebula Crystals emit light, grant Starlit when stepped on, and occasionally shed Celestial Dust.

  13. Rift squalls can shove players, apply Void Touched, and sometimes pull a Rift Wraith into the area.

  14. Rift Wraiths use a custom shrouded model with an emissive eye and rift-trail glow layer.

  16. Custom pixel-art block and item textures are generated for the mod asset set.

  17. Astral armor now has wearable astral_layer_1 and astral_layer_2 armor textures.

  18. Custom status effects now have dedicated mob_effect icons.

  19. Astral Harbinger and Rift Wraith have custom sound events for idle, hurt, death, and rift abilities.

  20. Entity and armor texture previews can be checked at build/entity-armor-preview.png after running the resource script.

  22. A dedicated Astral Dominion advancement tab tracks the full progression path from Star Shards to the Dominion Arsenal.

  23. The tree includes mining, rituals, Stellar Forge construction, Shattered Sky travel, spire exploration, Rift Wraith combat, Astral Harbinger victory, and post-boss gear completion.
