Arvan Characters

One Minecraft login. A whole roster of persistent lives.

Arvan Characters gives Forge 1.20.1 worlds and servers a configurable character-selection flow. Players can create separate identities with their own names, UUIDs, skins, inventories, advancements, statistics, locations, progression, classes, and height, while always retaining a protected Minecraft Profile entry for their original account.

Pehkui and CustomNPCs are optional. PasswordGate is already bundled; do not install a separate PasswordGate JAR.

Offline-mode identity warning: automatic first-join registration is blocked by default on offline dedicated servers. If an operator explicitly enables allowUnsafeOfflineMode=true, the first person to claim an unused login name controls it; adding a password afterward does not make that identity equivalent to an authenticated Minecraft account. Read the PasswordGate section of the project README before enabling this override.

Important alpha note

Back up worlds before installing or upgrading. Character identity touches player data, so mod compatibility reports should include complete client and server logs plus exact mod versions.
