Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
1.4.2
Changes since v1.4.0.
Add per-item parry rules and optional damage reflection (1c55dbf)
- moved gameplay settings to config/artofparrying.toml on every loader; copy existing settings from the world's serverconfig/artofparrying.toml to keep them when updating - added an item and tag whitelist for parrying; leaving it empty allows all items and empty hands - added datapack rules in data/<namespace>/parry/*.json to enable or disable parrying per item or tag, with custom windows, cooldowns, cooldown refunds, damage reflection, and activation and success sounds; rules reload with /reload, and item-specific rules override tag rules - added shield parry cooldowns based on a configurable percentage of the shield's last recorded cooldown, with a fallback duration when no record exists; shields cannot parry while their item cooldown is active - added support for parrying with offhand items and shields; switching away from the item used to start a parry prevents it from blocking a hit - added optional damage reflection with a configurable multiplier, disabled by default - expanded the optional Cloth Config screen with gameplay settings, loaded datapack rules in singleplayer, controls, camera feedback, and sound volume, with English and Simplified Chinese labels; multiplayer gameplay settings remain server-managed - added an example shield datapack with an 8-tick parry window, a 50% shield cooldown, no cooldown refund, and 50% damage reflection - fixed visible attackers and projectiles being rejected by the parry view check on Minecraft 1.20.1
