MAJOR UPDATE:
As of 1.3.2, this mod also changes the priority of death cancellation items.
The default priority is:
Thread of undying, Charm of second wind, held totem.
This sequence was chosen based on ease of acquisition.
This is fully configurable, and can be toggled off for default minecraft priotization if desired.
I've also added a toggle to the HUD in case you want the priority system without the HUD.

This is for Ars Nouveau.
This adds a HUD icon to the top left of the screen that appears if your "Thread of Undying" is ready to cancel player death. If the thread of undying doesn't have a charge or is not equipped, the icon disappears.
This is client side only.

Changelog: I noticed after some testing that sometimes when the inventory window was open, if the player died, the indicator wouldn't change. This is now fixed in 1.1.0

Version 1.2.0 now has support for ars_additions undying charm:
Up to two totem HUD notifications, so you never forget how many times your life can be saved.
