When this setting is on, only the items of the same type will count (You can see that there are arrows in the hotbar that are not counted)
As you can see, the arrow icon changes to the arrow that you are supposed to fire next (and yes, there is 1,728 more arrows in the inventory)
This mod also counts with Infinity enchantment and Creative mode
