Enhancer for Armored Combat 1.1.2
The goal of the Armored Battle Enhancer mod for Minecraft 1.12.2 is to improve battle mechanics by adding configurable debuffs, stagger mechanics, and dynamic armor weight.
Because each sort of weapon and piece of equipment has distinct in-game repercussions, it promotes a more calculated approach to armored battle.
Qualities
New Dash, Dodge, and Shield Bash Mechanics
Double-clicking your right or left movement keys will allow you to dodge. This is the new movement method. A hotkey is linked to Dash through the in-game menu.
System of Armor Weight
Dynamic Armor Weight: The weight of each piece of armor is determined by its composition.
Combat Impact: Lessens knockback when struck.
uses slot-based penalties to change the pace of movement.
Debuffs are applied when the total weight of the armor is above predetermined thresholds.
Impact of Critical Hits
Stagger Mechanics: Give players and mobs a stagger effect when they take critical hits.
Weapon-Specific Debuffs: Apply debuffs like stun, knockback boost, bleeding, or armor loss.
Dynamic Visual & Audio Feedback: Sound cues and unique particle effects heighten the impact. - Working on adding custom sounds and dedicated per-weapon particle effects
Heavy Armor Mechanics Weight Thresholds: Additional debuffs or slight slowdowns are applied when the total armor weight is above a certain threshold.
Flexible Extensibility
JSON Configuration: The `armored_combat_config.json` configuration file allows for the dynamic registration of new weapon and armor types.
Mod Compatibility: To guarantee balance and compatibility, the mod smoothly interacts with well-known modifications (Draconic Evolution, Botania, ProjectE, and Twilight Forest).
Duration of Effect and Stacking
Smart Effect Handling: If a similar effect is performed again, its duration is refreshed or its intensity is enhanced, up to a customizable cap.
