Armor & Enchant Rework changes how enchantments and armor works in minecraft.
Enchantment combining: Infinitely combine books to get higher levels
Enchantment protection change: Protection enchants now divide damage taken so getting higher levels of protection enchantments is always worth it
Enchantment balance: Most of the vanilla enchants have been changed to be balanced with the extra levels you can get
Changed anvil repair: The cost of anvil repairing has been set to only 1 level and repairs half of the damage on your tool so in most cases repairing with anvils is actually worth it
Changed anvil price: The price for enchanting was changed to take the final tool's enchantments to determine price instead of the price getting really high after a few enchants
Removed level cap: There is no longer a level cap for the anvil
Changed armor formula: Armor now divides damage taken by 5 every 20 armor points, so more armor toughness and armor will always be worth it.
The formula: damage = incomingDamage / ( 5 ^ ( armorPoints / 20 ) )
Changed armor toughness formula: Armor toughness calculations divide armor instead of subtracting so more armor is always somewhat effective.
The formula: armorPoints = actualArmorPoints / ( incomingDamage / ( armorTougnessPoints + 20 ) + 1 )
