# Armed Mobs Warfare 1.2.0-dev.9 (test build)
Changes since **1.2.0-dev.1**.
**Before you update:** back up `config/armedmobswarfare/`. On the first start, the config files and `factions.json`
(now version 12) are updated in place. Your settings move along to their new places.
## Settings in the browser
- `/armedmobs settings` (operators) has a second tab, **Settings**. It shows every setting of `common.toml`,
`guns.toml`, `magic.toml`, `medieval.toml` and your own `client.toml`, sorted by topic instead of by file.
- Every setting gets the right field (switch, number with unit, percent, choice, list) and its description.
Fine tuning is folded under "advanced settings".
- Search over all files, a list of unsaved changes, and a button per setting to go back to its default.
- Saving checks every value first. Wrong values are marked red and nothing is saved.
- Changes apply at once, no restart. If someone else changed a setting in the meantime, the page asks first.
## Gear per faction
- New in `factions.json` and in the editor (tab **Gear**): `weapon_whitelist`, `weapon_blacklist` and `armor`.
Leaders can have their own lists (`leader`).
- An entry can be:
- an item or gun
- a whole mod (`simplyswords:*`)
- the start of an item name (`minecraft:netherite_*`)
- a tag (`#minecraft:swords`)
- Applies to wars, sieges, hunts, caravans, wanted camps, settlement guards, militia and mercenaries.
## Events per faction
- `events` per faction (tab **Events**) decides where a faction shows up:
- battles, hunts, ambushes
- sieges and settlement sieges
- caravans, wanted camps, settlements
- mercenaries
- `events` per mob: that member only spawns in these events.
- Each faction's caravan (trader, guards, pack animals, day or night) is set in the same tab.
## Leaders
- `"leader": true` on a member makes it the siege leader, wanted boss or settlement warlord.
With `spawn_weight` 0 it is only ever a leader.
## Faction banners
- Every faction has its own banner (tab **Banner**): base color, up to 16 patterns and an optional painted picture.
The editor has a pattern editor and a paint tool.
- The 18 default
This mod has no additional files
