Argo's Buoyancy Gear

Tired of having to hold spacebar just to not drown? Wanting to build on water surface more easily? Or just want to stay safe in and around water?

This lightweight mod adds buoyancy aids, life jackets and swim rings - stuff to keep you afloat regardless of holding down spacebar while you do stuff and keep you safe from drowning.

Buoyancy Aid

Buoyancy Aid is worn in a chest plate slot and provides buoyancy at the stage where you can override it by holding shift. This makes you sink and allows you to do stuff underwater. The moment you release shift, the vest brings you back up.

Buoyancy aids are colorable much like leather armor. Their default color is red.

This item is not resistant to downward pull of Magma Blocks.

Life Jacket

Life Jacket is also worn in a chest plate slot and provides more buoyancy then a Buoyancy Aid. You cannot override this vest by holding shift. It will keep the head above water to prevent drowning completely.

Life jackets are not recolorable.

This item is not resistant to downward pull of Magma Blocks.

Swim Ring (v1.1.0+)

Swim Rings are the ultimate floats also worn in the chest plate slot. They have the highest buoyancy and cannot be overridden by shift key. When on dry land, the ring rests at the waist. When in water, it rises up under the arms. It is also immune to downward pull of Magma Blocks, making them the ultimate anti-drowning device at the cost of.. you know.. prominent appearance. 😏

Compatibility notes

I know of no incompatibilities as of yet. Mod is compatible with Dye Depot for richer coloring. Feel free to report issues.
