Arc 0.7.0

Multiplayer is here. Everyone on the server now sees your baselines, your idle, walk, run and the rest, as soon as you come into view. Each clip is sent once and remembered, so there’s no hitch. The server and every player need Arc for this.

Share your animations. Pick a clip in the Library and hit Share… to send it to anyone online. They get a little notification, can preview it on their own character, and accept or decline. Requests run out after 20 minutes. Ops can Give a clip straight into someone’s Library, or use /arc give <player> <clip>.

A new Library. Bigger cards with your character playing each clip, search, filters, and a side panel with everything about the selected clip.

Server settings. Server owners can switch custom animations and sharing on or off, and set limits, in serverconfig/animeditor-server.toml. Changes apply live, no restart.

Modpack defaults. A modpack can set everyone’s starting animations with config/arc/baseline.json and a folder of clips. Your own choice still wins, and Reset takes you back to the pack’s.

For mod developers: a small public API (com.animeditor.api) to add your own animation slots to Stage and play a player’s chosen clip from your mod.

Smaller stuff

• The editor opens at 80% instead of 120%, and Ctrl+scroll now sizes it from 50% to 160%.

Fixes

• Arc no longer stops you joining servers that don’t have it. Your animations still play for you there.
• Pack animations now play on dedicated servers.
