What's new

Added

  • /arcforge debug conduits (admins): the conduit networks in your dimension, busiest first, each with its sources, targets (input sides), calls into machines' insert per tick and contents updates sent to players per second.

Changed

  • Conduits use less server time. They move the same amounts, shared out the same way:
    • Energy conduits move each tick's pull and push in one transaction. A machine that takes nothing (full) is left out for up to 8 ticks, asked first with a simulated insert when its wait ends, and fed straight away once it has room again. Networks with nothing stored skip the push entirely.
    • The FE and heat a network holds are only split back into its conduits when they're saved or the network changes, not every tick.
    • Item conduits work out once per network which inputs each output can reach, and an output with nothing to give is tried less often (at most 8 ticks apart, so only Hardened and Arcforged conduits notice).
    • Fluid, pressurized and item conduits send what they hold in a small packet instead of a full block update, at most once a tick per conduit, and a fluid level only once it has changed by 1/32 of a conduit.
  • Cube multiblocks (the Arc Crushing, Induction Furnace, Metal Pressing, Superheater and Condenser Arrays and the Industrial Water Intake) check for a redstone signal only when a casing's neighbour changes, not across every casing every tick, and skip it altogether on Ignore. An idle Condenser Array with no water doesn't look for somewhere to push it.

Fixed

  • The Steam Turbine, Steam Boiler and Gas Turbine Arrays' models no longer vanish at some angles. They were only drawn while the chunk section holding the structure's corner block was visible; now they're drawn whenever any part of the structure is in view, and their draw distance counts from the nearest part of the structure.
  • The Steam Turbine Array's hitbox matches its model. It's now taken from the model itself, pixel for pixel, instead of being built separately in rough steps, so what you see is what you click and walk on.
  • Every part of a big Steam Turbine Array can be clicked. Parts deep inside a turbine 5 or more blocks across (the middle of a big casing, the pedestals between casings) open its GUI too, where clicks used to go through them.
  • Steam Turbine Array windows show the blades from any angle. The stage rings between the blade rows are now a shallow lip at the casing wall, so they no longer hide the rotor when you look in at a slant.
