Arcane Realms is a magic and adventure content mod for Minecraft Java Edition.
It combines spell progression, custom artifacts, animated magical creatures,
boss encounters, and handcrafted structures into a single experience.

Quick Start: Items, Controls, and Spells

Arcane Realms uses magical catalysts instead of traditional commands. Most
actions are performed directly with the item in your hand.

General controls

- Right click: cast the selected spell with the Arcane Wand, Crystal
Bracelet, or Codeblade.
- Shift + mouse wheel: cycle through the spells available on the catalyst
you are holding.
- K: open Spell Mastery while holding a catalyst or controlling an Arcane
Glider. This key can be changed in Minecraft's Controls menu.
- The mana HUD appears automatically while a catalyst is held or while mana is
being spent or regenerated.

Every successful cast consumes mana and starts a cooldown. If a spell cannot be
used, the game displays a message explaining whether you need more mana, must
wait for the cooldown, or have not met a special requirement.

Mana and Spell Mastery

- Mana regenerates automatically and maximum mana grows gradually after
successful spell casts.
- Each of the 14 spells has independent Mastery progression up to level 10.
- Effective spell use grants Mastery experience.
- Higher levels improve power and mana efficiency, with unique automatic
upgrades unlocked at levels 5 and 10.
- Hold the relevant catalyst, or control an Arcane Glider, and press K to
inspect the current spell statistics and milestones.
