Description
Arcane Paths
Three paths. One world. Choose how you fight, build and grow.
Arcane Paths turns Minecraft into a role-playing game. You pick a path, climb five ranks through a quest book that teaches you every step, and when you master a path you can start another and keep what you learned.
The three paths
- Warrior (Rage): fight up close, grow stronger the longer the fight lasts. Heavy armour, big weapons, no ranged spells.
- Mage (Mana): command magic from a distance with wands and staves, spells, teleports and healing. Frail, but powerful.
- Technician (Energy): build machines, power grids, drones and automation. A full storage network of your own, and weapons that run on power.
Each path has its own region of the world (Crimson Wastes, Shattered Veil, Overclocked Zone), its own villages with a Mentor, its own food, wood, armour, abilities, enchantments and bosses.
The Quest Book and the Guide
- 75 quests across five ranks per path, and a Guide with hundreds of short lessons that tell you exactly what to do next: what to craft, where to look, which key to press. Click any ingredient to see how it is made.
- Spend path points on abilities (four ability slots, Z X C V), and master a path by completing every rank.
Ascension
- Master a path, then begin another. Its abilities stay with you, and every mastered path gives a permanent Legacy bonus.
- Hybrid abilities between paths, harder and better-paying later cycles, and four Apex bosses that only answer players who have mastered paths.
What is in it
- Nine metals (Dawnsilver, Emberite, Lumenite, Voltium, Frostite, Umbrite, Wraithsteel, Aetherite, Riftglass) with tools, armour and set bonuses, and five wood families with a full building set each.
- Remote-control abilities: fly a drone, a wisp or a spectral sword while a barrier guards your body.
- 36 path-gated enchantments, a food and cooking system (Hearth Pot, regional crops, stews), and path storage: the Technician's Nexus Network, the Warrior's Rucksack and Spoils Chest, the Mage's Satchel and Reagent Pouch.
- 60+ new creatures, new sub-biomes and landmarks, shrines with mini bosses, a set of path bosses, three major bosses (Umbral Devourer, Wraith Hierophant, Aether Colossus) and four Apex bosses.
- Two new dimensions: the Hollow (a sea of crystal caves) and the Rupture.
- A new main menu, pause menu and in-game screens in a dark and gold fantasy style.

From the developer
I'm a lone developer, building, testing and balancing all of this by myself, so there will be rough edges. Bug reports, balance feedback, ideas and any other help are hugely appreciated: on discord. Back up your world before updating, and thank you for trying it.
