Weave your own spells

On the Spell Weaving Table you combine three reagents: a source that pays for the spell, a rune that says what it does, and a lens that says how it flies. Fire, frost, lightning, healing, levitation, decay, light, gravity, nature, shadow and more; projectiles, beams, traps, areas, vortexes, orbits, dashes, wings and falling stars.

Your own sky

Every player has their own constellations. Draw a star path on the Astral Atlas to bend a spell to your will: homing, split, chain, echo, pierce and many more. Find synergies between stars, light them at a telescope and watch your sky grow.

Runes that live

Runes are inscribed at the Ritual Altar from offerings thrown round it, then charged under the night sky. Each charge wakes a new power in the rune. Elements mark their targets and react with each other.

Rituals

Lay a focus on the altar and strike it with a staff: Ward, Rain, Clear Sky, Growth, Starlight, Sky Island, Starfall, and the rune rituals: Restoration, Frostbite, Tempest, Gravity Well, Embers, Windlift and Night Veil. Candles, amethyst and skulls round the altar make it stronger.

Comfortable to play

• The spellbook is worn in a Curios slot; open a weaving table and it lies down on the table by itself, then goes back when you close it.
• The star path you draw is kept while you read the atlas.
• Themed tooltips with lore, and a guide, the Astral Codex, in your pack from the first moment.
• Full JEI support. English and Ukrainian.
• Magic creatures, ruins and star metal to find in the world, and a path of advancements, some with a wink to stories you may know.
