Arcane Codex

First release.

Spells. 26 across eight of Iron's schools, plus a Dominion and Emperor pair for nine schools that shuts a whole school of magic off inside a travelling 24-block field - 44 in all. They register into Iron's own registry, so they appear in spell books, the scroll forge and loot with nothing to configure.

Six altar rituals on the nine-pedestal altar: the Rift, the Force Dome, the Sun Sentinel, Hallowed Ground, the Tomb and the Wellspring. Each leaves something standing on the map, and they know about each other when two share a base. A rite has to have been read in the Codex before it can be worked - laying out a flawless figure for an unread rite fires the working into the caster.

The Wanderer's Codex, assembled one torn leaf at a time. Leaves sit where their subject sits: pyromancer towers, priest houses, the catacombs and the Dead King, the Citadel, cultists and the End.

Two mobs and a structure. The Redactor steals writing off your Scroll Shelf and reads the schools out of casters. Seven successful thefts summon the Concordance, a boss built out of the exact pages that save lost. The Broken Library is a collapsed hall on the surface you can go and take apart - /locate structure arcanecodex:broken_library.

Nine status effects, each with its own icon and ambient particle. Custom particles throughout, and a creative tab carrying every spell as a scroll at level 1 and at max level. Optional JEI integration adds the ritual recipe pages.

Requires Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks (built against 1.21.1-3.16.2), Iron's Lib, Curios, GeckoLib and Player Animation Lib. JEI optional. Minecraft 1.21.1 on NeoForge 21.1.x only - NeoForge 21.2 is a breaking release this mod cannot run on.
