# Arcane Ascension
*An Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks Addon*
Arcane Ascension adds a full class, rank, and progression system on top of **Iron's Spells
'n Spellbooks**. Pick a profession, awaken as a magic class, and climb the ranks from
Apprentice all the way to Grandmage — all driven by how much you actually cast.
## Features
**Professions & Classes**
Choose your profession first. Mages then awaken as one of eight magic classes, each tied
to one of Iron's Spellbooks' schools of magic:
- 🔥 Pyromancer — Fire
- ❄ Cryomancer — Ice
- ⚡ Electromancer — Lightning
- ✚ Sanctomancer — Holy
- 🩸 Hemomancer — Blood *(Lifesteal passive)*
- 🌿 Sylvamancer — Nature
- ✦ Arcanomancer — Evocation
- ☠ Endermancer — Ender
Every class is locked to its own school — a Pyromancer can't cast Ice spells, and vice
versa.
**Ranks**
Six ranks — Apprentice, Adept, Expert, Master, Archmage, Grandmage — gate which spell
rarities you're allowed to cast. Rank up automatically by earning XP and building Affinity
with your school through casting.
**Affinity**
Every spell you cast builds Affinity with your class's school. Higher Affinity reduces
your mana costs by up to 30%.
**Spell Mastery**
Cast a spell enough and it gains Mastery, boosting your damage output and cutting its
cooldown the more you use it.
**Dynamic Attributes**
Your Max Mana, Mana Regeneration, and Spell Power all scale automatically as you
progress — no manual attribute commands needed.
**Starter Kit**
Awakening into a class hands you a spellbook, a scroll with a random starter spell from
your school, and an Inscription Table to get you started right away.
