Arcana Hub 1.2.3 - NeoForge 1.21.1
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Arcana Hub 1.2.3
Server rules for new kinds of worlds on the Arcana network. Everything here is server-side: no client code or network message changed, so players' games behave as with 1.2.2. Works with Arcana 0.1.61 and 0.1.7.
- Staff-only worlds. A world being set up or reviewed can be closed to everyone but staff and operators; others are
told it is not open yet. Such a world stays out of the other servers' tab lists and
/seealluntil it opens, and the lobby lists it in its menu for staff only, marked "(staff)". - Hardcore worlds. A player killed by another player (a blow, a spell, an arrow, a tamed wolf or summon, or bleeding
out after a player's knockdown) can't return to that world for 72 hours by default. They are sent to the lobby, and
rejoining tells them who killed them and how long is left. Dying any other way bans nobody.
/hardcoreexplains the rule. - Chunk claims. Use a golden shovel on the ground to claim that chunk, bedrock to sky (64 chunks each by default);
sneak-use it to unclaim. Holding the shovel shows claimed land nearby, and walking onto someone's land says whose it is.
On claimed land only the owner and the players they
/trustcan build, break, open containers or use blocks, or hurt and take their animals; explosions, fire, fluids, pistons, dispensers and Arcana's spells from outside can't change it. Commands:/claim,/unclaim(/unclaim all),/claims,/trust <player>,/untrust <player>. - The lobby's tab list names the strongest player across all the network's worlds, and who holds the most eyes, with the world each is on. Each world's own tab list still shows its own leaders.
Staff-only worlds, hardcore rules and claims stay off unless the server's config turns them on.
