Formerly the only solution to having custom boss music play during the Ghost of Captain Cornelia's fight, now an addon for the Aquamirae mod by Obscuria that tweaks the way the Ghost of Captain Cornelia's boss music plays. The mod:

Allows the theme to restart once it's done playing
Cuts the music off once the boss is defeated or if the player dies/travels beyond a certain distance away from the boss
Adds a custom victory jingle for when the boss is defeated
Displays an action bar message indicating the track currently being played (as well as its author) as the player encounters the boss
Makes the song's volume adjustable via the "Jukebox/Note Blocks" slider instead of the "Music" slider in Options > Music & Sounds and completely culls off Minecraft's default music whenever the boss theme plays.

How to solve "music playing at boss spawn" problem

You probably had Dynamic Surroundings installed. Don't worry, there isn't a need to get rid of the mod. Instead, follow these steps to completely solve the issue while still having Dynamic Surroundings installed.
