Apricogs is a Create x Cobblemon addon. Build Poke Balls on a real assembly line, brew potions in a Mechanical Mixer and mass-produce vitamins and candies. You need a little Create knowledge: how to power a machine and move items between machines. Nothing advanced, and JEI shows every recipe step by step.
This mod was made for the Steamon community and for the Steamon modpack.
Every ball is built in stages and every stage is a real item: a bottom cut from a metal sheet, a lid cut from an apricorn, a mechanism, a stencil, then aprijuice for the colors.
A saw or a wash takes most balls back to an earlier stage, and everything the deployer does can also be crafted at the crafting table.
Potions, status heals, elixirs and vitamins as liquids, poured with a spout.
Experience candies from XS to XL, molten exp. candy, IV candies, EV feathers and the Applin apples.
The campfire pot works in a heated Mechanical Mixer, up to three seasonings included.
Washing sand, gravel or soul sand in an encased fan has a tiny chance of a fossil.
Create's mechanical arm can fill and empty the TM machine, the data monitor, the disc shelf, the gilded chest and the pasture block of Cobbreeding.
Every compatibility can be turned off in the config.
Origin ore is rare (ten times rarer than ancient debris) and hides in small veins in the Overworld and the Nether, and in the Aether and the Otherside with their mods. Only a netherite pickaxe (or a better tool), a Stratus pickaxe or a Warden pickaxe can mine it, and it drops 1 to 3 raw ores (Fortune works). Smelt a raw ore into an Origin Shard, then mix 4 shards, 2 netherite scrap and one Tumblestone, Sky Tumblestone and Black Tumblestone in a superheated Mechanical Mixer to get an Origin Ingot. The ingot makes armor trims, blocks of origin, a beacon base and the lid of the Ancient Origin Ball.
A Gimmighoul fed 999 coins, 255 netherite and 255 Origin Shards can evolve into a Gholdengo coated in origin: red, or purple like the Master Ball when shiny.
This project is made purely for fun, like the Steamon community server. I am still a student without unlimited resources, and the mod takes a lot of my personal time. Many textures of this mod (fluids, stencils, balls, lids and other sprites) are copies or modified versions (recolored, mirrored, recomposed) of the textures of Create: Klinks n' Klangs by pixelsenpai, used under the CC BY 4.0 license. They stay under CC BY 4.0. pixelsenpai does not endorse this mod.
Assets of Create and Cobblemon were also used and modified: some fluid and bucket sprites come from Create, the grey ball sprites and the tumblestone textures from Cobblemon, and the lava cracks of the vents from Create: Molten Vents by Apothic0n. They remain the property of their authors.
