AppliedSmelting 26.1.2 v0.5.0
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Applied Smelting v0.5.0
New: Full tier progression for every machine. The ME Blast Furnace, ME Smoker, and ME Crucible now have Mk1, Mk2, and Mk3 tiers, upgradeable in place the same way as the ME Smelter — craft an ME Machine Upgrade Template, then Mk1/Mk2/Mk3 Upgrade Kits, shift-right-click to apply. The Upgrade Template and Kits are universal: the same items work on any of the four machine types.
New: Optional JEI integration. The ME Crucible's ore-to-molten-metal recipes now show up in JEI's recipe book, and every machine can be clicked in JEI to jump straight to its recipes.
New: Optional Jade support. Looking at any ME machine now shows its status, current item, progress, and fuel level right in the tooltip — no need to open the machine or terminal to check on it.
New: ME Crucible terminal tab. The ME Smelting Terminal now has a fourth tab for the Crucible, with its own queue — ore goes in on the left, the terminal shows the molten metal output on the right (rendered as a fluid), and it also shows any molten metal already sitting in your network's fluid storage so you can pull it out with a bucket.
Improved: Cross-mod fluid compatibility. The Crucible's molten metal output now works with any mod's fluid tagged c:molten_<metal>, not just Productive Metalworks — picked up automatically, no setup needed.
Fixed: the Crucible's own fallback molten iron/copper/gold fluids (used when no compatible mod is installed) no longer render as a missing-texture placeholder.
Improved: rebalanced the ME Smelter/Blast Furnace tier progression so Mk1 is a real step up instead of matching the base tier; reduced ME Smelting Terminal server load from redundant per-tick recipe lookups.
