Applied Ritualistics

Applied Ritualistics is an Applied Energistics 2 addon designed to bring AE2 autocrafting to altar, pedestal, ritual, and other unconventional crafting systems.

Many modded crafting systems require ingredients to be placed across multiple blocks, making them difficult or complicated to integrate into a normal AE2 autocrafting setup. Applied Ritualistics aims to solve this while keeping the experience simple and familiar to AE2 players.

Ritual Pattern Provider

At the center of the mod is the Ritual Pattern Provider, an AE2-compatible Pattern Provider designed specifically for ritual-style crafting.

Instead of building complicated item-routing systems around every altar, the Ritual Pattern Provider handles the connection between your ME network and the crafting structure.

Simply create your pattern, configure the ritual setup, and allow AE2 to handle the rest.

Ritual Connectors

Ritual Connectors allow individual input positions to communicate wirelessly with the Ritual Pattern Provider.

Place connectors at the required positions around an altar, pedestal system, or other crafting structure and link them to your provider. When AE2 requests a craft, Applied Ritualistics can distribute the required ingredients to the appropriate locations and manage the crafting process.

This system allows the mod to accommodate everything from small altar setups to much larger and more complex crafting structures without requiring cables between every input.

Built for Mod Compatibility

Applied Ritualistics is designed around supporting multiple crafting systems rather than being tied to a single mod.

The long-term goal is to provide one consistent AE2 automation system for crafting mechanics found throughout large modpacks, including altar crafting, pedestal crafting, infusion systems, ritual crafting, and other distributed crafting mechanics.
