Applied Quantum Inscriber โ v2.2.0
Major update for the Quantum Inscriber multiblock: native ME autocrafting, in-world interactive holograms, GuideMe book integration, Port Tiers, and performance overhauls!
๐ฎ Interactive In-World Hologram (Hologram Projector)
- Real-time Assembly Preview:
- Right-click an unformed Quantum Port with any AE2 Wrench (Certus Quartz Wrench / Nether Quartz Wrench) to project a 3D building blueprint in the world.
- Shift + Right-click with the wrench cycles through structure templates: 3ร3ร3 (Small) or 5ร5ร5 (Large).
- Color-coded guide: green outlines indicate correctly placed blocks, while translucent ghost projections highlight missing or misaligned blocks (center core, wall inscribers, corner port).
- Automatically disappears once the structure is formed or when toggled off with the wrench.
๐ In-Game GuideMe Manual (AE2 Guide Integration)
- Fully illustrated entries integrated directly into AE2's GuideMe manual:
- Step-by-step construction diagrams for 3ร3ร3 and 5ร5ร5 configurations.
- Parallelism tables, speed calculation formulas, and upgrade breakdowns.
- Detailed mechanics for Singularity overdrive, press modes, and pattern automation.
- Available in both English (
en_us) and Russian (ru_ru).
โก Built-in Autocrafting & Dedicated Press Slots
- Internal Pattern Matrix:
- Added a dedicated "Patterns" tab in the Quantum Port GUI featuring 18 slots for Processing Patterns.
- The port registers patterns directly into the connected ME network via
ICraftingProviderโ no need to attach external ME Pattern Providers!
- Dedicated Press Slots:
- 4 permanent slots for Inscriber Presses (Silicon, Logic, Engineering, Calculation).
- Enables encoding clean recipes without presses as inputs (e.g.
1 Gold โ 1 Printed Logic), preventing the AE2 crafting CPU from requiring thousands of catalyst presses.
๐ท๏ธ Quantum Port Tier System
- The Quantum Port is now split into 5 progressive tiers matching AE2 crafting storage: 1k, 4k, 16k, 64k, 256k.
- Tier Enforcement: The Crafting Storage core inside the multiblock cannot exceed the tier of the Quantum Port.
- Each tier features custom illuminated textures and animated active states.
โฆ Singularity Overdrive
- Added a dedicated purple slot for an AE2 Singularity (
ae2:singularity). - Inserting a Singularity pushes the multiblock into HYPER-SPEED (1 tick per operation), complete with electric arcing particles and distinct sound effects.
๐จ GUI Overhaul & Themes
- Spacious 2-Column Layout: GUI expanded to 240px wide:
- Left: Upgrade Bay (4 Speed Card slots + Singularity slot).
- Right: Live Machine Stats (Size, Core Tier, Load, Speed).
- 200px wide energy and progress gauges.
- Separated Status Line: Clean energy readouts on the left and network status on the right (
ME: ONLINE/ME: OFFLINE). - Theme Switcher: One-click toggle between Cyberpunk Dark theme and classic AE2 Light theme (persisted to player config).
๐ Visuals, Audio & Mod Integration
- Quantum Cube Transparency: Interior inscriber blocks are hidden behind a sleek translucent glass shell with glowing neon beams.
- Custom SFX: Ambient quantum humming, distinct pneumatic press clicks on recipe finish, and structure formation fanfare.
- Jade / Waila Support: In-world tooltips displaying current tier, formation state, FE storage, active ops, and upgrades.
๐ Bug Fixes & Stability
- AE2 Cable Connectivity (NeoForge 1.21.1): Registered
AECapabilities.IN_WORLD_GRID_NODE_HOST. Glass and Smart cables now immediately snap and link to all faces of the Quantum Port. - ME Autocrafting Planner Fix:
- Resolved an issue where the Crafting Confirm screen showed no required ingredients and jobs hung indefinitely at 0% (
getEmitableItemscorrected to standard pattern provider behavior). - Added pre-flight buffer capacity checks in
pushPatternto prevent stalled tasks.
- Resolved an issue where the Crafting Confirm screen showed no required ingredients and jobs hung indefinitely at 0% (
- 100% Version Parity: Identical feature set, logic, and networking across Forge 1.20.1 and NeoForge 1.21.1.
