Applied Overdrived makes the antimatter of Overdrived a first-class citizen of your ME network: antimatter can be stored in AE2 drives, moved with import and export buses, pulled out of Overdrive's tanks and pipes, and transported across long distances with a dedicated P2P tunnel.
Features
- Antimatter storage cells (1k / 4k / 16k / 64k / 256k) – drop them into any normal AE2 Drive and they store antimatter just like a fluid cell stores a fluid. They support the Inverter, Equal Distribution and Void cards.
- Portable antimatter cells (1k / 4k / 16k / 64k / 256k) – a handheld cell with its own little terminal. Right-click an Overdrive antimatter tank with it to fill or empty the tank.
- Antimatter cell housing – the crafting component for all antimatter cells.
- Antimatter P2P tunnel – sends antimatter through your AE2 cable network, so you no longer need a long line of Overdrive pipes. Attunable with the regular ME tunnel.
- Import & Export bus support – antimatter can be pushed into and pulled from the ME network with the standard AE2 buses.
- External storage – Overdrive's antimatter tanks, machine ports and antimatter pipes can be used as external storage with a Storage Bus.
- Proper rendering – antimatter is drawn in the ME terminal, the cell tooltips and the P2P tunnel in the color of its type (antiprotons, decelerated antiprotons, cooled antiprotons, positrons).
How to use it
| What | Where |
|---|---|
| Store antimatter | Put an antimatter storage cell into an AE2 Drive |
| Fill the ME network | Place an Import Bus next to an Overdrive antimatter tank or pipe, enable the Antimatter key type in its config |
| Empty the ME network | Place an Export Bus next to an Overdrive antimatter tank or pipe |
| Use tanks and pipes as storage | Place a Storage Bus next to them |
| Transport antimatter over cables | Place an Antimatter P2P Tunnel on a cable at the source and another one at the target |
| Fill a tank by hand | Right-click the tank with a portable antimatter cell |
One antimatter unit equals one millibucket, so the 1k cell holds about 8 buckets, the 4k cell about 32 buckets and so on.
