AntiSkidAC

AntiSkidAC is a configurable anti-cheat and abuse-prevention mod for Minecraft Forge 1.7.10, designed specifically for heavily modded servers where traditional anti-cheat systems often struggle with compatibility and false positives.

Rather than focusing on vanilla-only movement restrictions, AntiSkidAC combines server-side packet validation, runtime integrity monitoring, and optional client verification to detect known cheat clients, packet abuse, inventory exploits, creative-mode abuse, and suspicious runtime modifications while remaining compatible with custom movement systems, vehicles, jetpacks, flight mechanics, and other modded features.

Features

Server-Side Protection

AntiSkidAC includes a variety of server-side checks designed to identify exploitative behavior without interfering with legitimate mod functionality.

Current protections include:

Packet flooding and packet spam detection
Creative-mode packet abuse detection
Invalid inventory field validation
Illegal entity action detection
Protocol integrity validation
Challenge-bound client report verification
Configurable enforcement actions (log, warn, kick, or ban)

Compatibility-sensitive checks such as movement validation, ability packet enforcement, and inventory/container state enforcement are available but disabled by default to reduce false positives in large modpacks.

Optional Client Integrity Scanner

AntiSkidAC includes an optional client component that can perform recurring runtime integrity scans and report findings back to the server.

When enabled, the scanner performs startup and delayed validation checks and submits periodic heartbeat reports while the client remains connected.

The scanner can identify:

Known cheat client fingerprints
Suspicious packet handlers and channel injections
Runtime module registries associated with known cheats
Unexpected modifications to critical class resources
Suspicious event bus registrations
Modified client branding and menu hooks
Runtime integrity changes that occur after startup

Reports are challenge-bound and validated by the server before being processed.

Designed for Modded Servers

Many anti-cheats assume vanilla gameplay and produce constant false positives when used alongside large Forge modpacks.

AntiSkidAC is designed around the reality of modded Minecraft and therefore leaves the following checks disabled by default:

Movement enforcement
Reach validation
Ability packet enforcement
Generic inventory/window validation

This allows servers using custom flight systems, vehicles, power armor, magic systems, advanced movement mechanics, and other heavily modified gameplay to deploy AntiSkidAC without immediately breaking legitimate features.

Server Control

Server owners maintain full control over how detections are handled.

Administrators can:

Log detections for review
Warn staff about suspicious behavior
Kick offending players
Automatically ban confirmed detections
Require AntiSkidAC on all clients
Configure heartbeat and integrity policies

By default, confirmed Xenobyte runtime detections can be configured for immediate enforcement while more generic detections use configurable thresholds.

Limitations

No anti-cheat can completely prevent cheating.

AntiSkidAC focuses on detecting exposed runtime artifacts, suspicious packet behavior, integrity violations, and known cheat fingerprints. Determined attackers can still bypass client-side protections, particularly through advanced native injection techniques.

For best results, AntiSkidAC should be used alongside active moderation, sensible server policies, and additional server-side protections where appropriate.

Installation

Install Minecraft Forge 1.7.10.
Place AntiSkidAC in the server's mods folder.
Optionally install AntiSkidAC on clients to enable integrity scanning and heartbeat reporting.
Configure enforcement policies in the AntiSkidAC configuration file.

Recommended Companion Mod

AntiSkidAC is designed to complement, not replace, traditional server security measures.

For maximum protection, AntiSkidAC is strongly recommended alongside Watchdog Anti Cheat AntiSkidAC focuses on packet abuse, runtime integrity monitoring, cheat fingerprint detection, and client verification, WatchdogAC provides strict mod whitelisting and additional client-side enforcement.

Using both together provides significantly broader coverage than either solution alone, especially on heavily modded servers where maintaining competitive integrity is important.
